The First of May sees the return of the iconic and well-loved The Dixies, Everton Football Club?s end of season awards for Blues players.
Taking place at the legendary Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, The Dixies is one of the most prestigious events in the Merseyside Football calendar. It?s only the awards? second year of running, but last year?s success rendered the event a must-do for 2018.
There?s plenty of ?Dixies? up for grabs on the night for the world famous Blues and all the players will be eager to see if they managed to make the top list. Awards being presented on the night include the Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season, Under-23 Player of the Season, Ladies Player of the Season, Fan of the Year, Chairman?s Blueblood Award and the Howard Kendall Award.
A former player will also be named as an Everton Giant and inducted into Everton?s Hall of Fame.
Each winner will receive their own Dixie ? an award statue in the shape of the club?s biggest success: Dixie Dean. The category winners will be able to take home their award to be reminded every day of their success by their greatest former player and world record holder.

Nearly 1300 tickets are available for fans to attend the awards show on May 1st 2018 and gives supporters a chance to see their favourite players off the pitch and in the Phil. The show will last around two hours, with an iconic blue carpet being rolled out for the stars to strut their stuff before entering the theatre.
Tickets start at ?18, but loyal fans can get stall seats for ?75, where they?ll be within touching distance of Everton legends and current players alike.
The awards show will be an evening of glamour and comradery that is set to be an exciting end to a memorable season. Formal attire is recommended!
Everton?s current manager Sam Allardyce will be attending the awards show, along with the entire first team squad, so keep an eye out for Rooney, Baines and Jagielka!
There will also be video highlights of the team?s performance in the season, as well as interviews with the first team stars and special guests that are attending on the night.

The Dixies was launched last year at the end of the 2016/17 season in a revamp from the traditional end of season awards and the night was a huge success.
